More Than Rock N Roll
Born and raised in New York City, Rick Rocker is ready to bring energy and meaning back to rock and roll! Rocker, a singer and guigtarist who writes all of his own songs, draws inspiration from across all eras of rock music. Both nostalgic and fresh, the sound that he is generating is big and catchy as hell!
For Rocker, it’s got to be real. #MoreThanRockNRoll is the hashtag tied to his upcoming EP. It’s all about the music and sending a message. That message will be heard loud and clear on his upcoming EP “Love Turn”. Producer credits include the Red Triangle duo and Joey Auch. Combined they have credits spanning from Green Day, The Struts, James Arthur, 5SOS, Charlie Puth, The Vamps, Rachel Platten and many more.
Rockers latest single “What Would I Do” comes from a place of appreciation. Speaking to those closest to him, “What Would I Do” reflects how we all can sometimes take for granted the important bonds of love we share with the people closest to us. Born from a moment in time where the possibillity of Rick losing his mother to cancer existed. It was only for an instant and she turned out tto be absolutely healthy but the song and the feeling remained.
After several months of writing, the song became tied to feelings of romance in addition to family bonds. The lyrics are direct and the vocal delivery is drenched in an undeniable sincerity. The culmination of emotions that resonate within this song runs deep. An apologetic intro will draw you in close and never let go. Just like strong bonds are formed over time, the song grows as it progesses. A signature guitar solo ignites the fuse to an explosive final chorus. – Upcoming releases – “Running Out” Single – August 28th 2020 “Love Turn” EP + Single – Oct 2nd 2020 Currently playing on over 60 radio stations in US.

I’m a bit of a kid at heart! :p I do my best to enjoy and get the most out of life. Usually, I like to joke and try to get people to laugh(I love watching comedians!!).
I love to learn new things. I believe everything has a purpose and you can learn from anything and everyone if you open your mind and listen.
I’ve lived in NYC all my life and spent most of my life living in Astoria, Queens. I’ve played most of my shows in NYC but have been to several out of state gigs. Will eventually start playing out of state gigs more often. Two of my ultimate goals are to tour the world and play Madsion Square Garden!
